You will have significant experience with NDIS plan utilisation and funding arrangements. You will have equivalent to a VET Certificate IV in relevant studies and/or equivalent knowledge and experience within the disability industry. You have excellent supervision skills and are able to lead, coach and motivate a team. You will have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. You will have thorough working knowledge of all relevant government legislation and standards with the ability to understand and implement organisation policies and procedures. You will have a current WA ‘C/CA’ class driver’s license and capacity to travel as needed within the Greater Perth Metropolitan area. You will demonstrate a can-do attitude, like a challenge, are flexible, value people, choice, culture and diversity.
The job - What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for delivering the highest quality of professional care to people we support in their homes and community. You will supervise and support a Neighbourhood team, ensuring NDIS compliance, protocols in regard to medication, reporting requirements and restrictive practice. You will be involved in rostering, providing coaching and supervision to staff (Support Worker, Volunteers, Trainees and Students on placement) to enable them to deliver quality/person-centred/custom focused outcomes for people we support.
