About the Role:

We are on the hunt for a HR Advisor to join Interchange on a permanent basis, based at our central Belmont Office. Reporting to the HR Manager the HR Advisor leads the HR function and partners with our leadership teams to support an engaged, empowered workforce throughout their Interchange lifecycle.

Lead Interchange’s HR function through:

  • Providing advice, support, and consultation to leaders across all areas of the employment lifecycle in line with employment legislation.
  • Act as the first point of contact and support for stakeholders regarding employee management and performance.
  • Support managers and leaders in the coordination of recruitment activity.
  • Undertake HR projects.
  • Support managers and leaders in relation to employee accidents and incidents.
  • Contribute to continual improvement processes, including identifying current trends and potential improvements to service delivery, fostering an ethos of improvement within the organisation.

What do you need to apply?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in or related professional experience and/or proven experience in the field.
  • Knowledge of and application of the FWA and NES, experience with interpreting EBA’s or awards. Experience working with the SCHADS award is desirable.
  • Knowledge and evidence of the application of contemporary HR practices and strategies.
