Job Description:
As a Support Worker, you will be working with clients from all walks of life who have complex needs, including physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and other challenges. Your role will be to provide high-quality support tailored to each individual’s requirements, promoting their independence and well-being. These roles are located across Perth metro. We are looking for individuals who are flexible.
Position: Support Worker working with Complex clients
Shift Type: Morning, Afternoons, nights and respite care (We are flexible and will work around you)
Locations: Perth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Encourage growth, development, and independence of customers through role modelling and mentoring
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Administer medication as required.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in supporting clients with complex needs
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in support working
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Current WA C Class drivers’ licence and own reliable vehicle
- Valid Australian working rights
- Capacity to meet inherent physical requirements of the role
- Excellent self-organised and problem-solving abilities
- Strong advocacy skills
