Diversity South, powered by Interchange is a registered NDIS provider and has been providing services to people with disability for over 30 years.

We are looking for an experienced, fun, flexible and engaged Senior Support Worker to manage one our SIL homes. We are looking for a worker with experience in leadership, complex needs, hoisting and managing challenging behaviors.

 

Location: Mandurah

Hours: 1x FTE. Mostly Monday to Friday Business hours but some early mornings, afternoons and weekends will apply.

What is involved:

  • Manage a team of Support Workers (supervision, probation reviews, team meetings)
  • Stakeholder liaison and management
  • A person-centered approach in guiding, coaching and supporting.
  • In home daily activities, personal care, medication assistance, mealtime management, recreational activities.
  • Following therapy and positive behavior plans.
  • Applying PBSP strategies to promote customer well being
  • Ensuring that all compliance, as well as required documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner

Key Requirements:

  • High level of reliability and resilience for customers with diverse, complex needs
  • Valid working rights
  • NDIS Screening Clearance
  • NDIS Worker orientation module certificate
  • Current WA Class C drivers’ license and own reliable car
  • Manual Handling certificate (current)
