Marketing & Communication Officer

We’re looking for a creative and driven Marketing and Communication Officer to join our team. This dynamic role supports the delivery of strategic marketing initiatives, content creation, and digital engagement to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder connection.

We’re looking for a Marketing & Communication Officer to join our team covering maternity leave on a part time fixed term basis (working 2 days per week).

Key responsibilities

  • Design promotional materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Manage social media accounts and create engaging content
  • Write blogs, newsletters, and SEO-optimised articles
  • Maintain and update WordPress websites
  • Liaise with stakeholders to share inspiring stories
  • Support promotional events and exhibitions
  • Assist with marketing reports and administrative tasks

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant qualifications and 2+ years’ experience in marketing or communications
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience with digital tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, CMS)
  • Understanding of SEO, analytics, and social media strategy
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail
  • Video editing skills (bonus!)
  • NDIS Screening clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Knowledge of the disability or not-for-profit sector (highly desirable)
