Support Worker SIL

 

Interchange is seeking enthusiastic and passionate Support Workers to join our Diversity South team based in Mandurah. The ideal candidate will have had experience working with complex needs customers and managing behaviours. We can offer part-time permanent contracts based on flexible availability. 

 

Location: Mandurah

Hours: Part time

What is involved:

  • A person-centered approach in guiding, coaching and supporting 
  • In home daily activities
  • Following therapy and positive behavior plans
  • Applying PBSP strategies to promote customer well being
  • Ensuring that all compliance, as well as required documentation is completed in a timely an accurate manner.
  • High level of reliability and resilience for customers with diverse and complex needs

Key Requirements:

 

  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • NDIS screening Clearance
  • NDIS Worker orientation module certificate
  • Current WA class C drivers license and own reliable car
  • Manual Handling Certificate (current) (preferred)
  • First Aid Certificate & CPR (Current)
