Payroll Coordinator

Are you detail-driven and passionate about precision? Join us as a Payroll Coordinator, where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery across the entire organisation.

We are offering a Permanent Part-time opportunity working 60.8 hours per fortnight (0.8FTE). We value work/life balance and offer flexibility of working between our central office in Belmont and working from home.

In this pivotal position, you’ll manage the end-to-end payroll process, including:

  • Fortnightly payroll coordination
  • Administration of employee entitlements
  • Compliance with legislative and reporting requirements

You will also liaise with external providers for salary sacrifice arrangements, process superannuation contributions, workers’ compensation payments, and parental leave reimbursements. Plus, you’ll lead complex payroll projects that impact the whole organisation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience in accounts and payroll administration, with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems, ideally MYOB and/or Cloud Payroll (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of the Not-for-Profit or disability sector, including interpretation of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (desirable).
  • Contemporary understanding of disability services, with experience in service design, leadership, and NDIS plan management.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  • Strong technical skills, including customer record systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with people with disability, their supporters, and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under limited direction, while collaborating effectively within a team to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, documentation, facilitation, and presentations.

Essential Pre employment requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check (when required).
  • WA Drivers Licence
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Documentary evidence of qualifications/experience.
