Support Workers – Permanent Part Time

We’re looking for experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our team, providing high quality support to clients located between Spearwood and Rockingham. Shifts can start as early as 7:00am, so early risers are encouraged to apply!

We offer Permanent Part Time contracts and are seeking candidates who are confident working with clients who have complex support needs. This role requires someone skilled and comfortable with:

  • Personal care
  • Manual handling
  • Supporting and managing challenging behaviours

Applicants must be available to work a minimum of three weekdays.

What the Role Involves

In this role, you’ll provide high quality, person centred support to an individual's living from Spearwood to Rockingham assisting them to live safely, comfortably, and independently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person centred guidance, coaching and daily support.
  • Manual handling and hoisting.
  • Supporting and managing complex and challenging behaviours.
  • Community participation support.
  • Transporting the client in a van.

Please note: This role includes short shifts. Applicants must be comfortable working 2–3 hour blocks.

Essential Criteria

We are looking for confident and skilled Support Workers who can bring genuine value to this role. You will need:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Support Worker or Care Worker.
  • Proven experience supporting clients with complex needs.
  • Strong manual handling and hoisting capabilities.
  • Experience managing challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence and confidence driving vans.
  • Reliability and commitment to rostered shifts.
