Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support organisational decision-making at a senior level. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our central office located in Belmont. Flexible working opportunities will be considered including work from home days.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for:

  • Leading financial governance and financial management functions
  • Delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and insights
  • Managing the organisation’s budget, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Ensuring strong compliance, controls, and continuous improvement

This is a key leadership role providing strategic financial advice to the Executive, while also overseeing day-to-day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations including reporting, modelling, performance analysis and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with financial legislation, NDIS requirements and audit processes
  • Develop financial models, costings and pricing frameworks
  • Monitor performance, manage cash flow and deliver insights through reports and dashboards
  • Partner with Executive and operational leaders to support decision-making
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and represent Interchange as required

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary Qualification, CA/CPA membership.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership role
  • Strong understanding of:
    • NDIS funding and financial frameworks
    • financial governance, compliance and risk management
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Proven ability to:
    • lead and develop teams
    • influence senior stakeholders
    • drive organisational outcomes through financial insight
