The opportunity with Interchange:

 

We are looking for a Rostering Coordinator to join the amazing scheduling team at our Central Office in Belmont (flexible working is offered), to provide efficient and effective scheduling services to teams in designated areas known as Neighbourhoods. You will need to provide feedback to ensure the Neighbourhood staffing is sufficient to achieve quality services to the people we support. 

As part of this integral role, you will be working closely with our Team Leaders to coordinate the rostering and scheduling needs of their respective Neighbourhood Teams.

The scheduler will be responsible for various tasks including:

  • Compilation and production of fortnightly rosters
  • Co-ordination of day-to-day changes arising from customer and/or staff needs
  • Checking and verification of delivery of supports
  • Timesheets, availability and leave requests and;
  • Analysis, planning and reporting to support effective workforce management.

To join the Interchange Team, you need to have:

  • Proven experience coordinating rostering services in a medium sized multi-faceted organisation.
  • Highly developed data input skills
  • High level of software literacy skills specifically in rostering software packages
  • Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission, Vision and Values of Interchange, including acting in accordance with the standards of behaviour outlined in the Interchange Code of Conduct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with people with disability, colleagues, and members of the community, displaying Interchange’s values
  • Ability to work autonomously and also within a collaborative scheduling team
  • Thorough working knowledge of organisation policies and procedures and relevant government legislation and standards.
  • Strongly developed prioritisation skills with a proven ability to manage workload to achieve business outcomes
